I had a very successful and promising Army career. I went to and passed some of the most challenging courses the Army has to offer such as Ranger School, the Combat Diver Qualification Couse, The Special Forces Qualification Course, Jungle School and Airborne school plus many others. To meet the challenges of the military, I pushed my body and competed at everything I ever did. I even found myself competing in some of the most prestigious fitness competitions the Army has to offer such as the Best Ranger Competition. My physical training expanded during this time and nearly resembled that of some professional athletes. My strength in the gym was at an elite level and my endurance was equally matched. In a series of training accidents and reoccurring injuries to my back I became essentially bedridden. Barley able to move or walk for almost two years. My training completely fell apart! Honestly, I was wondering if I was ever going to be able to walk again without pain. Because of the extent of this injury on top of a few others, I was forced to step away from the military. Faced with uncertainty about my ability to walk without pain, let alone continue training at the level I was accustomed to, I made a decision – a decision that eventually led to the birth of ProSpine Fitness.

My recovery journey was no quick fix; it demanded time, discipline, extensive research, and a relentless commitment to trial and error. As a husband and father, balancing a new career, family life, and a comprehensive back recovery simultaneously became a Herculean task.
